Canine Massage Theory and Techniques Course
Every massage move is demonstrated in a video for you to watch and practice as many times as you wish. You will use the one-handed effleurage move or the 'petting with a purpose' stroke in every massage you perform. Try one-handed effleurage to relax your dog.
You do not put your hands on a dog for some moves. Active stretches require the pup to do the work while you entice him with a treat. The nose to toes move stretches the muscles of the back to relax and strengthen them. While your dog plays a game to receive a treat he reduces muscle tension, improves circulation, and increases flexibility. See if your dog likes this stretch.
Stay up to date with Dr. Sue's teachings and receive the latest stories and information on canine massage therapy.
Dr. Sue enjoys teaching stretches to Camp K9 kids and the shelter dogs they work with.
